After Germany, Spain became the latest national team to announce its preliminary roster for the World Cup Qualifiers that are launched later this month.
11 out of the 24 players that head coach Sergio Scariolo selected are members of EuroLeague teams.
These are Rudy Fernandez (Real Madrid), Alberto Abalde, Fernando San Emeterio, Joan Sastre, Guillem Vives (Valencia), Victor Claver, Pierre Oriola, Pau Ribas (Barcelona), Sergio Rodriguez (CSKA Moscow), Ilmane Diop (Baskonia) and Alberto Diaz (Unicaja Malaga).
