After a bunch of defeats Slovenia and Croatia returned to wins by beating Iran (77-69) and Mexico (99-74) respectively. Both Balkan teams had a lot of players in good night, but Jaka Klobucar and Ante Tomic made the difference.
Slovenia beat only New Zealand in the last four friendly games and needed an injection of confidence. The task against Iran (77-69) proved easy, despite the very good game by Hadadi. Jaka Klobucar had 13 points, dished 12 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds. Also, Balazic scored 15 points.
Gustavo Ayon was great (27 points, 5 rebounds) but Mexico couldn’t keep up with Croatia (99-74). Ante Tomic was once again very good and has on his side four double-digits scoring teammates (Rudez had 15 points, Simon 14, Saric 11 and Bogdanovic 11). The final difference was so big because of the amazing shooting night of the winners (56% in 3ps with 14/25 and 70% in 2ps with 24/34).
