The new FIBA ranking for Men was updated after the end of the FIBA World Cup, nothing changed for the top, however France is the big winner of the year and Greece lost a lot of ground. After the bronze medal in Spain, France gained three places and now it’s the fifth county in FIBA Men’s competition witbh 360 points behind the unchanged top four of USA (1040), Spain (705), Argentina (455) and Lithuania (477).

On the contrary Greece lost five places and is the tenth team on the list (226), behind Russia (353), Serbia (344) which gained four places, Turkey (284) which lost one and Brazil (277) which gained one. Australia dropped two places and it’s eleventh with 219 points, followed by Croatia (182) and Slovenia (168). As it’s evident once more European teams are dominating the top of the rankings getting nine spots in the first 13 places of the list.
