Philippines veteran big Andray Blatche commented on the brawl that took place during the game of his national team against Australia for World Cup Qualifiers.
“I wish wat happened didn’t but when u see a brother hit from the back of his head what do u do,” Blatche reacted on Twitter. It was the player’s first tweet in over a year.
Blatche was among the players that were involved in a fight that broke in the match when Australia’s Chris Goulding was hit. His teammate Daniel Kickert reacted by elbowing opponent Roger Ray Pogoy and then all hell broke loose. Blatche was ejected together with eight of his teammates and three Australia players.
FIBA will take disciplinary actions against both national teams.
