No less than 30 players from the NBA answered the call of their national teams for the crucial last two games of the World Cup Qualifiers First Round.

30 NBA players joined their national teams during the June-July Window of the Africas, Americas, Asia and Europe World Cup Qualifiers.

Since NBAers were unable to play in the previous rounds of the World Cup Qualifiers due to their obligations with their clubs, it’s not surprising that many participated in the two games held these past weeks. These matches were of the utmost importance since the national teams carry their results in the next stage of the Qualifiers so even the countries that had already advanced needed all the help they could get to finish this round with the best possible record.
