Frank Ntilikina decided to focus on preparing for his second season with the New York Knicks and will not play with France in September qualifying games for the 2019 World Cup.
Just like Lauri Markkanen, Ntilikina expressed his criticism on the timing of the September windows.
“It is with great honor and pride that I received the announcement of my selection. However, at the dawn of my second NBA season with the New York Knicks, the timing appears very complex. It is with great regret that I will not be able to finally join the rest of the group”, Ntilikina mentions, as adapted by L’Equipe.
