As reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Jeff Brooks is soon getting his Italian passport in order to be able to join the Italian NT in the September qualifiers ahead of the 2019 World Cup.
Brooks, who penned a deal with Olimpia Milano earlier this summer, will have to be registered as Italian to FIBA by Thursday at midnight.
Per the same report, the initial deadline was September 3rd, though now the Federation has a few more days to complete the needed paperwork so that Brooks will be cleared to play in the upcoming qualifiers.
