Amedeo Della Valle set a new FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers record for most three-pointers made in a single game with a lights-out display in Bologna.
The 25-year-old Italian sensation connected on 8-of-11 attempts from beyond the arc, leading the Azzurri to a convincing 101-82 victory over Poland. The guard finished the contest with a team-high 28 points, as Italy improved to a 5-2 record in Group J and strengthened their claim on second place in the standings.
