The sixth and final window of the FIBA World Cup is nearly upon us and teams from all over the world will fight for the last remaining tickets to the big stage in China.

However, things are getting tough in the African Qualifiers, with teams playing back to back games from February 22nd to 24th.

Senegalese forward Maurice Ndour pointed out this hardship in the schedule with a post on his social media.

African qualifiers: Games played on the 22nd,23rd and 24th with no rest days. Back to back to back games

America’s qualifiers: games played from the 22nd through the 26th. Each team 2 games, 1 day rest in between.

TELL ME WHAT’S WRONG HERE?

Senegal is currently at a 7-2 record and close to qualifying, so Ndour’s point really resonates, as the team will have no rest days in the chase of a ticket to China.
