Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic said that as of now, he doesn’t know if he will play in the upcoming World Cup tournament.
When asked what will determine his final decision, Jokic said: “How I feel. What the team thinks about it. What my family and my agent thinks. What is good for me. Just to see how I feel. It’s a lot of games, but you never know,” per Michael Spencer of CBS Denver.

Earlier this season, Jokic told Eurohoops that he wasn’t thinking about the World Cup and he prefers not to give a “Yes” or “No” in order to not create expectations.
Jokic had also skipped the 2017 EuroBasket since he decided to spend the offseason doing individual workouts in Serbia. The 24-year-old big guy also didn’t play in any games of the World Cup Qualifiers.
The 2016 Olympic Games are the only major tournament that Jokic played with the Serbian national team. The Nuggets star helped the “Orlovi” reach the competition’s Final vs. Team USA and win the silver medal. He finished the tournament with 9.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
