After talking about the NBA with Eurohoops, Facundo Campazzo revisited his potential jump to the league during an interview with the Argentinian outlet La Nacion.
“I used to be obsessed with the NBA, but not anymore” he repeated. The 28-year-old guard further explained: “I re-signed with Real Madrid and I have two years left in the contract and I can display my talents with a big club, but yes the contract includes an NBA-out clause.”
Campazzo talked about the 2019 FIBA World Cup noting that Argentina is able to achieve its goal and secure a spot in the 2020 Olympic Games: “The expectations are high. Each of us had a great season. We will transfer that to the national team. I do not dare to say what we are capable of, but I want to see a team that prepares itself in the best way and competes with all rivals. And obviously, we can meet the goal of qualifying for Tokyo”.
