The Serbian Basketball Federation all but confirmed that Milos Teodosic will not participate in the 2019 FIBA World Cup after his early exit from Saturday’s exhibition match versus Lithuania due to foot pains. The doctor of the national team Dragan Radovanovic informed on the condition of the player after the initial medical tests via KSS’s press release on Sunday.
“It is a new plantar fascia injury. Intensive therapy has already started after the initial medical tests” he noted and added: “In the next couple of days we will see how his foot is going to react. New medical tests will follow and will know more about how much time Milos will be out.”
