Germany dominated the first quarter (23-4) and held of Hungary until the end for an 83-62 win at the VTG Supercup in Hamburg.
Dennis Schroder led the way with 19 points (4-6 triples) and seven assists while Daniel Theis helped with 11 points.
For Hungary, Akos Keller scored 12 points in addition to Benedek Varadi’s and Csaba Ferecz’s ten points each
Tomorrow (17/9), Hungary will clash with Poland at 17:30CET while Germany will play against the Czech Republic at 20:00CET.
