The frontcourt duo of Vincent Poirier and Rudy Gobert pushed France to an 86-72 win against Brazil.
They missed only one shot from the field each as Poirier banked 16 points (7-8 FG) and Gobert 14 points (6-7 FG). They also grabbed seven and eight rebounds respectively. Nando De Colo logged a double-double with ten points and ten assists.
Leandro Barbosa nailed 17 points for Brazil while Yago Dos Santos helped with 11 and Vitor Benite with ten points.
Although Brazil started the game better and was ahead 23-14 after ten minutes, France cut the gap to five points at halftime (43-38) and turned the tables in the second half for a double-digit win in the end.
