Greece and Serbia head into their last preparation game (20:30 GTM+3) for FIBA World Cup this Sunday at a sold-out OAKA arena, as it was made known a few hours before the game by the Greek Basketball Federation.
The two teams will compete in front of nearly 18,000 fans that will showcase their support in the final game of this year’s Acropolis International Basketball Tournament.
It’s the first time during the last decade that there’s a sold-out in the Acropolis tournament, a preparation tournament in Greece which was held for the first time n 1986 and remains a tradition before major FIBA competitions for national teams.
For the unlucky ones that didn’t manage to get their tickets, there’s the option of live streaming the game though FIBA.
Before Serbia and Greece head to battle, Italy will face Turkey for the third-place game (18:00 GTM+3).
