Kostas Sloukas is racing with time in order to play at least some games of the FIBA World Cup, Kostas Papanikolaou and Ioannis Papapetrou missed the game against Serbia in order to be protected and Giannis Athinaiou was injured after just 18 seconds on the floor.
Athinaiou suffered an ACL injury as it was announced after the game. He will miss the upcoming FIBA World Cup and a part of the upcoming season. The Greek guard recently signed with Panathinaikos.
