Maurice Ndour banked 14 points as Senegal put on a furious second half and recorded a 90-61 win over Puerto Rico in a prep game for the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
It was a four-point difference at halftime (36-32) with Senegal having a slight edge but they completely took over after the break. They went ahead 62-48 at the end of the third quarter and continued to improve the lead until the very end.
Senegal will play one more prep game on Tuesday (27/8) before traveling to Dongguan where World Cup Group H (Canada, Lithuania, Australia) will play their games.
Puerto Rico which four of their last five prep games will play in Group C with Spain, Iran and Tunisia.
