Spain has a couple more preparation games before the 2019 FIBA World Cup, but will battle Argentina on Tuesday and Russia on Wednesday without Marc Gasol. The 34-year-old center is forced out of the two final games due to gastroenteritis, the Spanish Basketball Federation announced.
His national team will wrap up preparations at Ningbo and afterwards travel to Guangzhou ahead of the World Cup first round action. Gasol is expected to be ready for Tunisia on August 31st, first Group C game for the Spaniards.
