Head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic selected 12 players for Montenegro’s final 2019 FIBA World Cup squad, the Montenegrin Basketball Federation announced on Wednesday.
Milko Bjelica, Bojan Dubljevic, Nikola Ivanovic, Derek Needham, Aleksa Popovic, Petar Popovic, Dino Radoncic, Nemanja Radovic, Sead Sehovic, Suad Sehovic, Marko Todorovic and Nikola Vucevic made the final cut ahead of Ognjen Carapic and Jovan Klajic.
The World Cup newcomers will be part of Group F set to take place at Nanjing between September 1st and 5th. Up first will be Greece, matches against New Zealand and Brazil will follow.
