Greece is officially set for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. The Greek Basketball Federation announced the 12-man roster picked by Thanasis Skourtopoulos on Friday. Antonis Koniaris was the odd man out from the final thirteen.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis Bourousis, Nick Calathes, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Vangelis Mantzaris, George Papagiannis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Ioannis Papapetrou, Giorgos Printezis, Kostas Sloukas and Panagiotis Vassilopoulos made the team.
First World Cup game is on Sunday against Montenegro. The Greeks will follow up facing Brazil and New Zealand at Nanjing in Group F action.
