Salaj Mejri led Tunisia to a historic first win in World Cup tournaments by making buckets (22 points), grabbing rebounds (15) and… draining triples.
Indeed, Mejri shot 5/9 from beyond the arc in the victory over Iran. That’s nearly half the 11 3-pointers he made in the 2018-2019 season overall with the Dallas Mavericks.
