SHENZHEN – Brazil’s head coach was ejected from Brazil’s game vs. Team USA, after receiving his second technical foul. The game began with Petrovic complaining to the referees about some missed calls and after 5:50 he received a tech. A few minutes later, he received a second one (12:50) and eventually got ejected.
He thought Myles Turner fouled Anderson Varejao, but the refs pointed that it was a clear block. Finally, after remaining in the court and arguing with the refs, his players interfered and walked him to the tunnel and the locker-rooms.
Brazil coach Aleksander Petrovic was ejected in the 2nd quarter after receiving his 2nd technical foul.
