Spain was crowned the 2019 FIBA World Cup champion and players certainly felt like gold medal recipients in the locker room following Sunday’s championship match versus Argentina at Beijing, China. The Spanish Basketball Federation posted a video with highlights from the post-game celebrations.
Sergio Scariolo, his staff and the players are traveling back from China to Spain. Upon the return later Saturday, the Spanish national team will visit the President and the King of Spain, before extending celebrations by displaying their winnings to gathered supporters.
