Armani Jeans won easily against Cremona and Sergio Scariolo feels safer, but the Italian coach has long ago secured his staying in Milan. On the contrary Dusko Ivanovic not only lost his job in Vitoria, but at the same time he has to think about the salaries that Caja owes to him.
The Montenegrin coach is owed salaries from this season and also from last and therefore the amount of money that he has to receive, reaches 800.000 euros! Caja Laboral doesn’t spend money as easily as in the past and this is one of the reasons, that preferred to hire Jan Tabak who is considered a “low budget” choice. Of course no one has ever lost money from Caja’s president José Antonio Querejeta and it is certain, that Ivanovic will receive every penny that is owed to him.
Something that is also 100% certain in the case of Scariolo, as the Italian coach has to be paid his full contract, if he gets fired! With his annual salary being one million euros, if Armani wants to replace him, they must give him more than 1,5 million euros! This is a fact that makes it extremely difficult to be released.
