You can safely say Spike Lee is the most famous fan of the Knicks, but if you take a closer look you will notice he is also a… bonified member of the team. The film director, producer, writer and actor traveled to London, few days after he was done with shooting his new film, “Oldboy”.
While he is staying in London, he attends all practices, he talks to the players and to the coaches for everything and specially on tactical issues. He also doesn’t hesitate to do the tactical analysis of his beloved team for anyone who asks him to.
The world’s famous New Yorker was the man who everybody wanted to talk to in “O2 Arena” and most of his answers were about… the Knicks game! “You have to watch Iman Shumpert. He is our best defender. When we will reach to East’s Finals against Miami, he will be the one to take over Wade”, was one of his quotes, which were somewhere between real and… surreal.
