The Red appeal has no time frame

As Eurohoops reported since the 25th of January, Olympiacos appealed on Monday the 4th of February the decision of Euroleague’s independent judge conserning the petition filed for the game against Siena on the 18th of January. The Reds are arguing that the game should be replayed due to the last seconds clock malfunction.

And here things get tricky. The appeal judge of Euroleague should decide on the case, whenever he wants. There isn’t a time frame for his decicion, while the competition will continue to be played as scheduled. So, if he doesn’t produce a decision on time, the appeal will prove futile. According to some sources the most probable date for a decision should be considered the days between the 7th and the 8th week of Top16.
