Can this be a break out season for European basketball? With the final four being held in London, that’s a possibility specially when you have good ideas and the money to do them right. The video of Anadolu Efes‘ “surprise concert” is probably the best ever advertisement created by a Euroleague club, or even Euroleague itself.
How can you measure success? Not only by the youtube views, or the reposts of the video, but also from the media interest that it created. News outlets that are covering the Euroleague around the old continent are praising Efes, but also UK newspaper “The Guardian” that its basketball coverage is limited in the NBA, post it on its website. It’s a big win not only for Efes, but for Euroleague and European basketball in general.
