Panathinaikos’ forwards who suffers from an ankle injury wishes to be present in both games against Barcelona, but at the moment the most probable scenario from him is to be a spectator on Tuesday

With Panathinaikos getting ready to host Barcelona, the injury of James Gist is the big question on the team’s roster. The American forward suffers from dilatation of the flexor tendon in the ankle. He wears a special boot, he is under treatment and missed the last practices of the team. On Monday his situation will be more clear and his presence on the court on Tuesday will be a last minute decision.

He wants to be present, but Panathinaikos would prefer him to rest in order to be absolutely ready on Thursday and what counts in this case is the doctors’ opinion.
