The Slovenian former NBA player is not expected to be used by the Turkish team in the most crucial game of the season against Olympiacos on Friday, due to disciplinary reason. That may also be the end of the road for him with the team

As it was officially announced by Anadolu Efes, Sasha Vujacic is out of the team’s roster due to disciplinary reasons and he is not expected to be used in the upcoming Gamde 5 of Euroleague’s play offs against Olympiacos.

Vujacic was quoted by the Turkish media saying after his team tied the series last Friday (2-2) that Efes will win Game 5 if coach Mahmuti lets him play. According to Eurohoops sources, this is not the first time Vujacic was punished by the team for disciplinary reasons this season (coincidentally that happened also after a game against Olympiacos), but for the first time his punishment is not a fine and it was announced.

At this point he is “temporarily out of the team” and the club’s board will decide what his future will be, but it seems very likely that this is the end of the road for him in Istanbul.
