In the aftermath of the triumph of Olympiacos in London, the Greek coaches seem to be the new worldwide trend. After the end of his season with Limoges, Panagiotis Giannakis arrived in Beijing in order to be announced officially as the new coach of the Chinese national team.
However, he is not the only Greek basketball mastermind who will work in Asia. Vaggelis Alexandris, who got the Saporta cup in 2001 as the coach of Marousi BC, is ready to sign his contract with the National team of Jordan and could be the opponent of Giannakis in the upcoming FIBA Asia championship.
