A Friday night dinner for Predrag Danilovic in Belgrade ended in hospital, after him being stabbed with a knife in his stomach by one of his friends. Eurohoops contacted its sources in Serbia in order to get the details of this strange incident.
As it turned out, after the end of the dinner and some drinks, one man from the company of Danilovic, nicknamed “Fido”, threw him a bottle in the face. “You are the first man who is doing something like this to me in my life, but I know you are drunk, so I forgive you and I hope this ends here”, said Danilovic according to other people present in the scene.
That seemed to be the end of it, but after one hour “Fido” stabbed Danilovic who was transferred immediately to the hospital and after a two hours surgery, he escaped every possible danger. When Danilovic woke up after the procedure, he refused to give the real name of “Fido” to the police. However, his other friends did what they had to do, “Fido” will be taken to court and of course he will be punished. When the rest of the company asked him why he did something so crazy, his answer was “ask Danilovic”.
Danilovic himself, however, seems to believe that the incident is not something really serious. As he said in the afternoon, after getting full conscience and being able to communicate with his friends who came to visit him: “Why all this fuss? Why everyone is writing about this thing? It was just a regular dispute”.
