Despite the war between the Greens and Euroleague, Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos and the Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu met on Thursday in Barcelona. After the meeting none of the details of what was discussed was published with both sides keeping their lips sealed.
“When two persons who have proved they love basketball meet, then they can find a solution”, was the semi-official reaction from Panathinaikos‘ camp and one thing is certain. Both sides have decided to lower the tones of their dispute, at least until proven otherwise.
