According to what was written by the referees in the score sheet of Game 2 in the Greek finals, Panathinaikos’ owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos attacked them verbally during the half time in the locker rooms of OAKA

During the press conference after Game 2 of the Greek finals, Olympiacos‘ coach Giorgos Bartzokas said that the referees change the way they called the game in the second half: “The third quarter started with a five minutes delay. We know what happened”.

Olympiacos claimed that there was an attack to the game commissioner, former referee Nikos Karousis, during half time and as it turned out there was even more than that. As the referees wrote in their official report on the score sheet, the owner of Panathinaikos Dimitris Giannakopoulos, flanked by three fans of his team, entered their locker rooms and threatened the referee Ioannis Foufis, cursing at him and saying “you will not leave this place”. Of course, that means a more than severe punishment for the Greens and their owner.
