The first team that was interested in signing Zoran Planinic according to Eurohoops sources was CSKA Moscow. However, with Vasilis Spanoulis staying in Greece for Olympiacos the ideas of a total change in the back court of the team seem to be abandoned.
That’s why Galatasaray is on the verge of signing the Croatian point guard for a two years deal that will pay him a total of 2,5 million euros. The negotiation is ongoing, according to our sources from Croatia the talks are in their final stage and that’s the best offer Planinic has on the table.
This move also means that Milos Teodosic is staying in Moscow. Despite the displeasure of his team after one more Euroleague Final Four failure, Teodosic who still has a contract with CSKA is expected to remain with the team. According to sources close to the situation, the club until now hasn’t contacted the player or his agent in order to negotiate a possible release.
