Joey Dorsey is returning in Europe and his next destination is expected to be Barcelona. The Spanish powerhouse was interested in the American center before the end of last season and he was a candidate to sign a contract with the team during the Liga Endesa play offs. However, Barcelona decided to add Greek forward/ center Loukas Mavrokefalidis, but Dorsey was among the top choices of coach Xavi Pascual. With Mavrokefalidis and Nathan Jawai gone, the Catalans need a presence in the paint and Dorsey is considered one of top defensive centers in Europe, as he proved during his first season in Euroleague champions Olympiacos. According to Eurohoops sources, the deal can be completed really soon.
