The biggest unsolved issues of Anadolu Efes‘ roster have to do with the centers, Esteban Batista and Stanko Barac. Both of them have exhausted their welcome in Istanbul and the management of the team tries to release them with the minimum possible cost. In the meantime, Efes is already looking for their replacements and Ian Vougioukas is among the candidates. The Greek center is tied with Unics Kazan but he doesn’t exclude the option of moving, despite the fact that there is no buy out clause in his contract. The Turkish team has the intention to negotiate his release with the Russians but everything will happen after the end of the talks with Barac and Batisa.
