The fact is George Bartzokas indeed signed a pre-contract with Fenerbahce Ulker -as the newspaper “Prasini” published, together with his signature on the official papers.
But it is also a fact that Olympiacos‘ was fully updated about everything that was going on, since representatives of the Turkish team had reached the Reds to talk about the Greek coach’s buy out -he had a valid contract with them for next season and the Euroleague champs were asking 1.000.000 euros to let him go.
Also a fact is that on the pre-contract there was a term (which wasn’t published) that was stating the deal would be concidered as a done one, if Olympiacos agreed on give to Bartzokas its freedom. But at the end of the day, both sides wanted to walk together for one more season.
And even though the official Olympiacos had nothing to say on that matter, people close to them are saying “from the moment Panathinaikos likes so much to blurt out pre-contracts and contracts, it would be interesting to show us the contracts Olympiacos had asked few days ago. Specially Obradovic‘s one”.
As you can see, the most concrete fact is that the rivalry of Olympiacos and Panathinaikos in on during all months of the year.
