Retired legend Theodoros Papaloukas and Olympiacos finally reached an agreement in their dispute about the player’s payment during the last season of his contract. Papaloukas asked – and won the case in BAT – to be payed 1,75 m. euros owned to him by the team.
The Reds after losing the case to BAT took it to CAS, but the two sides reached a compromise and Olympiacos put an end to this fight by this press release: “Olympiacos BC announces that the legal dispute with Theodoros Papaloukas is ultimately terminated. The two sides under spirit of good will and mutual understanding, decided to compromise in the matter and therefore the appeal of Olympiacos to CAS will be withdrown. Olympiacos ignolege what Papaloukas offered to the team and wish for him to stay a positive presence for basketball and sports in general”.
