One month ago Greek basketball was shocked by the news of a possible player-sponsor in one of the top domestic league’s team. However, that’s not the case in VTB United league.
The president of newcomer Kasny Oktyabr, 35 years old Dmitry Gerasimenko was used for three minutes in the game against CSKA Moscow. It was his first appearance this season, however he was practicing with the team also last year and appeared in some Russian Superleague games. VTB league celebrated his presence on the court and as he said, he will probably do it again during the season.
