A new player, Peppe Poeta, was added in his position, he is not having the role he would expect to, at least two other clubs asked for his situation, but he is still a member of Laboral Kutxa which at this point doesn’t seem to count on him. Welcome to the strange world of Walter Hodge who is still a part of the Spanish team, however no one knows if he will finish the season there, or if he will move to an other team even in the middle of Top16.
On Thursday, Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas admitted that the Reds were interested for the player, but “it was not easy to get him”. According to many Greek sources, Panathinaikos also considered – or still is considering – a possible offer to Hodge. It’s logical to assume that Laboral Kutxa, despite not considering the player vital to its plans, wants a buy out in order to release him, so the situation is still unclear and it will be more than interesting to watch unfold.
