As we reported yesterday, Panathinaikos is pursuing Pooh Jeter, the Greek team is also interested on Zach Wright of Brose Baskets and no stone is left unturned because of the need of one more point guard addition. That’s why before the start of Euroleague’s Top16 the Greens contacted Raul Lopez from Bilbao Basket.
The veteran Spaniard can virtually leave the team any time, because of its difficult financial situation, the offer of Panathinaikos was flattering, but Lopez decided not to take it. Despite the problems of Bilbao, the veteran core of the team is having a great time this season, they want to fight for the best until the end and Lopez preferred to stay with his friends.
