Can two agents fight over a rising European star and start offering him around even during midseason? There’s no tampering rule in here, it’s not a first in European basketball and as usual Eurohoops has the scoop

Can two agents fight over the rights of a rising European star and start offering him around? It’s not a first in European basketball and as usual Eurohoops has the scoop.

High level talent is rare. That’s why sometimes you can see an agent trying to “lure” a client of an other agent. The competition is not always fair and the motive for a client to change allegiance is usually a contract offer. If that’s the case and you want to keep your player, what can you do? You try also to get him a contract offer by other clubs even if it’s still the middle of the season. After all there’s no tampering rule in Europe. That’s how things work at this side of the pond…
