Giorgos Printezis is the only front line player left in Piraeus from Olympiacos Euroleague back to back champion team. He has a one million euros contract for next season, but that didn’t stop Turkish clubs from making inquiries about him.

Anadolu Efes and Galatasaray are aware of his situation and are closely following his case in order to examine the possibility of getting him. Especially Galatasaray seems willing to offer him a huge contract.

The rumors from Turkey are bringing on the table a total amount of more than 4.5 million Euros excluded taxes and without bonuses for a three years contract. But, at this point Printezis is “locked” by Olympiacos. In his contract, there’s an early termination clause which can be activated by the team with a buy – out around 10% of his next season salary.

Olympiacos doesn’t have a reason to cut him and Printezis doesn’t want to leave the team. On the contrary, a similar early termination clause is included in Cedric Simmons’ contract and Olympiacos is expected to use it. The player already has a two years offer for a total of 550.000 dollars by an ambitious but not yet established Turkish club and he will likely end up on TBL this summer.
