Andrea Trinkieri already said goodbye to Unics Kazan via twitter, and he is expected to be announced on Monday as the new coach of Brose Baskets with a three years contract. However according to Eurohoops sources, this is just the start.
Not only the Italian coach but also many other key members of this season team are expected to continue their career elsewhere. It’s not a secret that Panathinaikos wants to get back Greek center Ian Vougioukas and he is not the only non Russian player who may continue his career elsewhere.
It also has to be noted that Unics wasn’t prepared for the departure of coach Trinkieri since the team has rushed to announce the renewal of his contract just after the end of the season, without getting a deal done.
