One of the attractions of Euroleague this season was not a player or a coach who shined in the court, but someone who didn’t play at all. Ping Shang, the first Chinese basketball player who was registered in a Euroleague’s team roster. Panathinaikos signed him and travelled to China last September for friendly games, trying to establish even more the Euroleague-China relationships.
Eurosport came to Athens and prepared a special feature about Shang’s life in Greece, his habits, his work and his basketball experience, which also includes comments from Shang’s teammates in the Greens, like James Gist, Stephane Lasme, Mike Bramos, Jonas Maciulis and others.
