Ferdinand Maggelan was the first man who travelled all over the world back in the 15th century. Real will do something similar this season, travelling around Europe in the regular season of the Euroleague! The trips all over the continent may proved to be harder for Euroleague’s finalist than the games themselves!
The Madridistas is the team in this Euroleague season that has to travel more than any other. All the trips are covering long distances and only the last away game to Sardegna against Dynamo Sassari is a relatively short one. Real has to travel in four trips 5.9625 miles or (if you prefer so) 9.596 km and the total amount of travel miles depends on the winner of the qualifying round who will complete group A. If the 24th team of the regular season is ASVEL, Real will have cover until late December a total distance of 13032 miles or 20978 km. On the other hand, if the last team of the group is Unics, then Real’s total will be 7124 miles or 27560 km.
Fasten your seatbelts!
