With CSKA Moscow being in the process of changes, Jeremy Pargo seems to be the odd man out. The addition of Nando De Colo and the re-signing of Milos Teodosic are the biggest proof that one year after his return to Europe, CSKA is not counting on him.
And now things get complicated. Pargo’s contract includes a second season for 2,5 m. dollars net and no termination clause for any reason. It’s a common secret that Maccabi Tel Aviv is monitoring the situation. The Euroleague champions seem to be the prime suitor for Pargo, among other European teams interested on his case, but his contract is the biggest possible obstacle.
Pargo’s side wants to be fully compensated by CSKA Moscow, even if he leaves Russia. So at this point nothing can be certain and of course the player will not let his contract go, despite the plans of the club.
