A bomb was dropped by Arale Weisberg in “Israel Hayom” as Maccabi Tel Aviv is in talks with former head coach Pini Gherson in order to hire his as an assistant of newly promoted head coach Guy Goodes. Gherson, a very outspoken person and three times Euroleague winner, seems a strange match with Goodes as the boss on the bench, however the club confirmed the talks, even if there’s no deal yet.
