BC Khimki Moscow Region people were honest enough to admit they gave they all to get Eurocup’s trophy, cause they knew this particular road to next year’s Euroleague was a lot more easier than having to beat CSKA Moscow, for PBL’s title. Rimas Kurtinaitis confined that to eurohoops.net, after he signed his new contract. Now, with the valuable help of Anton Solomin, from Sport-express.ru we tried to find out which are their plans for next year, after they already got James Augustin, Paul Davis and K.C.Rivers.
All Russian guys will stay (Fridzon, Vyaltsev, Monya, Khvostov, Pushkov, Karpeko, Zhukanenko) and almost all foreigners will leave. As it was announced the contracts of Adrien, Quinn, Kelati, Gelabale will not be renewed. Monya and Loncar extended their contracts for two more seasons and Planinic used his +1 option. Nielsen also has a contract for next year, but their intention is to terminate it. And with a budget around 20 millions dollars, they have in theory the money to achieve their primary goal, which is to reach at least at Euroleague’s Top 16.
