As Spanish journalist Chema De Lucas reported, Dinamo Sassari called Cedric Simmons of Olympiacos in order to get him. However this is not possible, because the American center can’t play in Euroleague with an other team.
Despite the fact that Simmons hasn’t been used yet by the Reds, he is registered in their Euroleague roster. That means he has not right to play for an other team in Euroleague before the Top16. Sassari needs a center as soon as possible, so Simmons is not their man.
UPDATE: However, Olympiacos announced the release of the player and it remains to be seen what his future will be. Αccording to sources close to the situation, the American center is not expected to end up in Sassari.
